Curated and organized three national traveling exhibitions from the collection of the Museum of the Southwest including “Reflections of a Journey: Engravings after Karl Bodmer, Spectacular Achievements: Audubon’s Animals of North America, and West by Southwest: Master Works from the Collection.
Contracted for, and supervised the matting & framing of over 400 works of art from various museum collections in accordance with professional archival standards with funding from the NEA, IMLS, and private sources.
Contracted for and supervised the conservation treatment of numerous paintings and works on paper from various museum collections over a thirty year period.
Increased the collections of the Museum of the Southwest over a 15 year period by securing important collections and singular gifts including the Hogan Collection of Taos Masters, Audubon’s North American Animal’s, the Barrett Collection of Contemporary Texas art, the Cheek Collection of Joseph Imhoff Drawings, the Randall Collection of American Indian art, the Agnes Martin collection of serigraph prints, and Burton Pritzker: Forgotten Planes photography collection, to mention a few.
Curated Here and Now Gallery: Contemporary Artist Series (1997-2010) – Museum of the Southwest
Annual series featured 5-6 “solo” shows by invitation.
Co-organized the West Texas Triangle – Annual collaboration with five accredited art museums in West Texas including the Grace Museum, Abilene, The Old Jail Art Center, Albany, the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art, and the Ellen Noel Museum of Art, Odessa. Featured artists included: Jesus Moroles (2007), Joe Barrington (2008), James Surls (2009), Sherry Owen (2010), George Tobolowsky (2012), Katherine Lee (2011), and Danville Chadborne (2013).
Creation of a five acre sculpture park – Museum of the Southwest. The park currently features 14 important southwestern sculptures including works be Jesus Moroles, Allan Houser, Glenna Goodacre, Doug Hyde, Veryl Goodnight, Dan Ostermiller, and Peter Woytuk. Purchased many of the works.
